I2SL University Alliance
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Kathy Ramirez of University of Colorado-Boulder, chairperson for I2SL's University Alliance Group (UAG), will host a meeting to plan the group's activities for the following year on the topic of greening federal grants. Greening grants is about finding ways to connect sustainability and efficiency to federally supported research for the dual benefit of reducing the environmental footprint of research while maximizing the effective, efficient use of federal research dollars. The UAG has been raising awareness about this need. As a result, there is growing community of university, federal, and nonprofit participants interested in collaboratively contributing to solutions. The group welcomes anyone to attend who is interested in learning about this initiative and contributing to the group's efforts.
