Rick Johnson
Rick Johnson, Director, Steel & Systems Products for Fisher Hamilton, manages the company's steel and adaptable laboratory furniture product lines and analyzes the market demand for product development and product line expansion. Mr. Johnson has assisted in lab planning and product development/programming for a wide range of corporate and institutional clients over the last twenty+ years.
As Director, Mr. Johnson is responsible for analyzing the market demand for product R&D, product line pricing and promotion, training and architectural/engineering planning/programming. Additionally, Mr. Johnson lectures extensively on laboratory design and emerging market trends.
Fisher Hamilton has supplied the laboratory casework, adaptable systems and chemical fume hoods for 14 out of the last 19 "R&D Laboratory of the Year" award winners. Fisher Hamilton® brand products have been recognized with providing workplaces that respond to employee needs as well as meeting specific technical and engineering objectives. The most recent projects Mr. Johnson provided laboratory programming/product design were Stanford University/Clark Center in Palo Alto – “2004 Laboratory of the Year”, MIT/Dreyfus Chemisrty Center – “2004 Renovated Laboratory of the Year”, Novartis/Biomedical Research Center “2005 Laboratory of the Year” and ASU BioDesign Institute “2006 Laboratory of the Year”.
