2018 ACT Label Recognition

The ACT Label Recognizes Manufacturers and Purchasers of Environmentally Preferable Lab Products

The 2018 I2SL Annual Conference Go Beyond Awards Luncheon featured a new set of awards recognizing manufacturers which are participating in My Green Labís ACT Label effort, as well as institutions that have begun to implement procedures to purchase environmentally preferable laboratory products. ďACTĒ stands for Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency, and the ACT label is like an eco-nutrition label for laboratory products.

The following manufacturers obtained the ACT label in 2018:

Following this initial recognition, I2SLís Laboratory Waste Landfill Diversion Working Group will support My Green Lab with a program in 2019 for nominating institutions that pursue environmentally preferred purchases and to recognize manufacturers in 2019 having achieved the ACT label.
