If you are feeling unwell or are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. Most airlines have flexible cancellation policies, and I2SL will work with you to transfer your conference fee paid to future conference.

The safety and health of I2SL attendees is our greatest concern. Marriott International has implemented brand-wide safety and cleaning procedures to keep their guests safe. The Atlanta Marriott Marquis is also regularly updating their website about what you can expect during your visit to the Atlanta hotel, based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance. Face masks are required, regardless of your vaccination status.

The Atlanta Marriott Marquis is offering contactless check-in, enhanced sanitizing of public areas, and modified daily room servicing to limit contact between guests and staff. Guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to guest arrival, and refreshment of towels and sheets is still available upon request. I2SL has ample meeting space to accommodate social distancing measures during the conference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will conference attendees be required to have the COVID-19 vaccine?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) strongly recommends that people get fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and I2SL supports CDC’s position with regards to conference attendees. While exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present, per the CDC, vaccines are safe and highly effective at protecting people from the severe effects of COVID-19, and getting fully vaccinated may help protect people around you. The CDC recommends preventive measures for unvaccinated individuals; thus I2SL encourages conference attendees to follow all relevant CDC guidance with regards to COVID-19. For more information see

Can I tell who is vaccinated?

While proof of vaccination is not required—attendees may voluntarily show vaccination card (or scanned image on phone) at conference check-in to receive a wrist band signifying “I got the shot” to make vaccine status known for anyone you’d like to network with.

Will attendees be required to wear masks during the conference?

In addition to adhering to CDC guidelines, I2SL is also following local mandates relating to public health and safety. Per the executive order issued by the mayor of the City of Atlanta on July 28, 2021, masks are required in all indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status.
