2022 Giving Tuesday Campaign

With climate concerns on the rise, the work of the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) has never been more critical. I2SL and the free resources it provides are made possible through the generous support of our members and conference attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors. To improve our ability to connect and educate the global laboratory community about ways to reduce labs' carbon footprint, I2SL also relies on generous donors. Tax-deductible donations support I2SL's work to advance lab sustainability.

Thermometer to $50,000For I2SL's 2022 Giving Tuesday campaign, donations supported the new Labs2Zero program, which is focused on developing a roadmap to decarbonize labs and other high-tech facilities around the world. Donors could also allocate funds to the Phil Wirdzek Memorial Scholarship Fund, which helps cover the cost of registration to I2SL's Annual Conference for lab supporters and students who will shape the future of sustainable lab design and operation. I2SL set a goal on Giving Tuesday to raise $50,000 to continue our important work, and an anonymous donor offered to match every dollar donated up to $25,000.

I2SL would like thank our generous individual and corporate donors whose contributions will helps I2SL further its mission of advancing the safety and sustainability of laboratories and other high-tech facilities around the world.
