  • Build their business case for sub-metering a laboratory environment.
  • Identify and define the sub-metering applications needed for success.
  • Identify and team with the stakeholders involved in their sub-metering system.
  • Design a sub-metering system that meets their organizational objectives.

Best practices for sub-metering laboratories were also explored, along with a discussion on the "persistency of savings" that often eludes even the best system designs.

Instructor Biography

Jim Plourde is an I2SL Board Member and the national business development manager for Schneider Electric's Energy Solutions Group.  Jim has been with Schneider Electric for 16 years where he has worked in a variety of power engineering and business leadership roles.
